We’re not the photographers who rush you or force stiff smiles. We work with patience, warmth, and a down‑to‑earth approach that helps you relax and just be yourselves.

📍 Where Do Sessions Take Place?
We offer both in-studio and on-location sessions — whatever suits your vision best! While our cozy studio is perfect for controlled lighting and styled setups, we especially love heading outdoors when the weather’s beautiful. Golden fields, rustic barns, or your favorite family spot… natural light and fresh air make magic happen.

⏰ How Far in Advance Should I Book?
Great question — here’s a quick guide to help you plan:
💍 Weddings: We recommend booking at least 12 months in advance. We’ll consider bookings as close as 6 months out if your date is still available.
📸 Most Sessions: Please book at least 2 weeks ahead — though during busy seasons, we may be booked out months in advance.
🤰 Maternity: The sweet spot for photos is between 32–38 weeks.
👶 Newborns: It’s best to book while you’re still pregnant, based on your due date. We’ll build in flexibility in case baby arrives early or late.
Ideal session timing: 7–14 days old
We’ll still photograph up to 1 month old, but after 2 weeks, those sleepy, curled-up poses may be harder to capture.
If you’re unsure or have a unique situation, just reach out — we’re happy to help you find the right timing!
💰 Are Retainers Refundable?
Retainers are non-refundable if you cancel your session. However, if you need to reschedule, we’ll gladly transfer your retainer to your new date — one time only.
If you need to reschedule a second time, a new retainer will be required to hold your spot.
Your retainer ensures that your session time is reserved just for you — once it’s booked, no one else can claim it. Thanks for understanding!
🌧️ What Happens If the Weather Is Bad?
No stress — we’re all about flexibility! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule your session for the earliest time that works for both of us. Whether it’s rain, wind, or just too chilly for little ones, we’ll make sure your session happens in the best possible conditions.
Your comfort and the quality of your photos come first — we’ve got you covered!
🚗 Do You Travel for Sessions? How Far Will You Go?
Yes — we’re happy to travel for sessions, weddings, and events!
Here’s how our travel policy works:
First 15 miles (each way) from our studio: Free
Beyond 15 miles: $0.70 per mile (each way)
Travel is available during: Spring, Summer, and Fall only
For weddings 2+ hours away or out of state: Additional travel fees apply, which may include:
Hotel accommodations
Meals
Gas
Airfare and rental car (if flying is required)

🎁 Can I Purchase Gift Certificates?
